Scope of works
Project Overview
The project involved addressing a defective section of a sewer line located beneath a high-traffic roadway. The scope included trenchless pipe rehabilitation and the excavation of a severely damaged sewer junction that could not be relined.
Key Works Undertaken
Pipe Relining
Completed 7 metres of trenchless pipe relining to restore the integrity of the existing sewer infrastructure.
Excavation and Sewer Junction Replacement
Excavated the roadway to access and replace a major cracked sewer junction that was beyond repair via relining methods.
Traffic Management
Implemented full traffic control measures to ensure safety and minimal disruption due to the high-traffic nature of the site.
Site Restoration
Conducted backfilling of the excavation and performed a thorough clean-up upon completion of works.
Site Conditions
Location: High-traffic roadway
Risk Level: High (due to traffic volume and nature of underground works)
